Multi-million pound new look for The Ridings

The first phase in a multi-million pound programme of makeover works is now complete at The Ridings Shopping Centre.

In recent months, the centre has undergone a host of structural and cosmetic changes, including the creation of three striking new entrances at Cathedral Walk, Almshouse Lane and Kirkgate that use glass and natural light to enhance the shopping environment.

The centre's food offer has equally been boosted by the improvement works, with a re-design of the existing food court and installation of new feature lifts, as well as the creation of a new café at Cathedral Walk and associated improvements to the surrounding public realm.
