Unsuspecting shoppers at The Ridings Shopping Centre were treated to an impromptu performance, when a group of singers recreated a “flash mob” sing-off and burst into a medley of festive songs last Saturday.
Singing group BeVox delighted shoppers by singing both traditional and modern seasonal songs, and created a wonderful, choral distraction for a short time before melting back into the Christmas shopping crowds.
BeVox is a company dedicated to helping people find their voice. It provides weekly singing sessions for groups, aimed at people with no prior experience of singing, and helps them to become more confident, improving their ability to sing in front of an audience, however impromptu.
Victoria Clapham, Marketing Manager at the Ridings Shopping Centre comments: “BeVox are a great group of amateur singers who love to share their passion with passers-by. Last time they performed at The Ridings they went down a storm and this performance was no different and created a light-hearted and festive distraction to the crowds.”
