The search is on for Yorkshire's Mr Romantic!

Could your man give cupid a tip or two or is he dreamier than Mr Darcy? If your other half is the ultimate romantic The Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield wants to hear from you!

The search is on for Yorkshire’s most romantic man as The Ridings launches a campaign to find the region’s biggest romantic.

With help from Welcome To Yorkshire, The Ridings Shopping Centre is calling on women to nominate their boyfriend or husband by visiting The Ridings’ Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ridingscentre) and describing what it is that their other half does that makes them Yorkshire’s most romantic fella.

The winning couple will be treated to a romantic overnight stay at The Coniston Hotel and Country Estate in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, a Love is in the Air package which includes chilled bubbly on arrival and a meal at the hotel’s prestigious Macleods restaurant.

Vicky Clapham, Marketing Manager at The Ridings Shopping Centre, comments: “We know that Yorkshire men might not have a reputation as the most romantic of men but we’re confident there’re some real gems out there. Whether your partner makes you breakfast in bed, sends flowers ‘just because’ or has a hot bath ready for you when you get home, we want to hear what it is that makes your man not only the love of your life, but the most romantic man in Yorkshire.”

Gary Verity from Welcome To Yorkshire added “Yorkshire is full of romantic places and we’re sure it’s full of romantic couples too! We think this is a great campaign to discover some of the region’s most heart-warming stories and to celebrate all the romantic gestures that Yorkshire men make!”

The competition opens on Friday 27^th January and closes on the 14^th February.
