CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL 

Our Giving Christmas Tree will be up from Monday 7 November, decorated with tags representing children who “will not have the Christmas they deserve” the tags have ages on them, enabling you to buy a gift, suitable for that child’s age, attached the tag and place in the box alongside the tree.

ALL gifts will be shared between many local charities including Wakefield Street Kitchen,  Stepping Stones Baby Charity, Hopeful Families and Kidz Aware

More now than ever, these charities NEED YOUR HELP!

CHRISTMAS FOOD APPEAL 

This winter, food banks in the Trussell Trust network are expecting to give out an emergency parcel every 9 seconds.

We don’t have to live with this.

This year we’ve already made incredible changes to the way we live, work and look after each other.

With this winter set to be so busy at food banks, we need your help.

Drop Off point – our food donation point is on the lower mall, just outside Mormons.

Timings – 4 November until ……


WAKEFIELD STREET KITCHEN CHRISTMAS SELECTION BOX APPEAL 

Wakefield Street Kitchen (WSK) is needing donations of selection boxes to be delivered across Wakefield to the elderly and their carers.

Anna Howard, founder of WSK, said: “So many charities are focusing on children this Christmas. Wakefield Street Kitchen plans to focus on the elderly and their carers as well as people struggling in the community.”

The selection boxes will be wrapped up and delivered by Father Christmas across the city.
