In support of Wakefield BIDS ‘ Merrie City Festival ’25, we have the following events planned in the centre:
Friday 22nd – Monday 25th, at the heart of Wakefield – a pop-up exhibition, looking back at over 40 years of the Ridings, Middle Mall, near F.Hinds. 9 am – 5 pm
Friday 22nd, FREE family fun, Jurassic Safari, featuring a large walking A-roar-a Red T-rex meet and greet, Professor Foss-Cecil and the Dino Safari team meet and greet
Crafting Station – Cave Painting & Fossil Rubbing, Selfie opportunities and face painting, Middle Mall main promo area, near M&S. 11 am – 3 pm
Saturday 23rd, Handmade market, curated by Little Hummingbird Event, 20 local, independent makers and creators selling their handmade creations, Middle Mall, near F.Hinds
Sunday 24th, Live music by Matt Yates, middle mall promo space, near M&S. 11 am – 2 pm
Additionally, Parking is only 50p all day on Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday.
